Wyoming | ATV Trails | UTV Trails | Dirt Bike Track/Trail | Snowmobile Trails | ATV Trails: Killpecker Sand Dunes: Located near Rock Springs The Killpecker Sand Dunes offer 10,000 acres for OHV use. Directions to the Killpecker Sand Dunes, Once in Rock Springs travel North on U.S. Highway 191, for approximately 12 miles then turn onto Tri Territory Road (aka Chilton Rd.) and take that east until you hit the sand dunes. The turnoff to the dunes is not marked and of course like many rural roads, Tri Territory Road is not paved. For a map visit blm.gov.

UTV/OHV Trails: Weston Hills Recreation Area: located 25 miles northeast of Gillette, accessible via State Highway 59 North. The Weston Hills Recreation Area consists of approximately 9,000 acres of BLM-administered lands adjoining the Thunder Basin National Grassland. The area is jointly managed with the USDA Forest Service. The "ATV Loop Trail" is closed to motorized vehicles from September 15 to October 20 so as not to disturb wildlife before and during the big game hunting season.

Worland MX: Located near Worland the Worland Motocross offers a one-mile circuit with triples, doubles, step-ups, whoop sections and tabletops. The big jumps are cut out for the Pee-Wee's. The 25-rider rubber band start leads into a 90-degree turn. Middle positions are best because you can key off the band release. Worland MX also offers Cleared parking/pit area, water truck and after-race BBQ. . Race days: A midyear, marathon motocross is being organized with more events planned.

Snowmobile Trails: Northern Bighorns: Located near Burgess Junction, West of Sheridan, The Northern section of the Bighorn mountains offers over 193 miles of well-marked groomed trails through open parks and along trails. Plus, there is another 22 miles of ungroomed trails and thousands of acres of unbroken powder meadows.

Southern Bighorns: Located Southwest of Buffalo the Southern section of the Bighorn Mountains offers 150 miles of well-marked, groomed snowmobile trails. There are also 27 miles of ungroomed trails. Elevations range from 6,000 to 10,000 feet.

Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail: A section of the Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail Starts at Lander and runs to West Yellowstone this 270 mile section generally parallels the Continental Divide. There is Parking Southwest of Lander that provides access to 75 miles of trails through beautiful forested mountains. The section of the trail that runs between Lander and Pinedale is extremely varied and you can expect high mountains with amazing views, Dense forest trails that take riders form one large open play area to another with snow depths generally ranging from 6-8 feet. There is a 30 mile section of the trail from the Irish Canyon Trailhead to Pinedale that is on a highway right of way. There is no fuel from Lander to boulder and you can expect lower snow level in that area as well. From Pinedale The Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail runs to the Dubois area that has another 150 mile trail system.

Snowy Range: Located West of Laramie in Albany County The Snowy Range offers almost 200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails as well as another 120 miles of ungroomed routes. There are also plenty of hills to climb, meadows full of deep powder and wide open parks to play in.

Wyoming Range: Located near Alpine the Wyoming Range Area offers nearly 280 miles of groomed trail as well as 60 miles of ungroomed trail. The trails run from Alpine to Kemmerer. The town of Alpine does allow snowmobiles on the street and makes as a great base to explore the northern part of the trail system.
